On a Mission

I am currently on a mission to create a tender and succulent  steak sandwich.  I have grown tired of the cheese-steaks and French dips.  I want a nice inexpensive cut of meat that has been perfectly seasoned and marinated so that every bite makes you even hungrier for the next.  I'm marinating a couple of thinly cut top round steaks right now.  These are generally a tougher cut, but I'm marinating for at least four hours in hopes of getting them to a very tender state.

Marinating in 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce, 1 Tablespoon Soy sauce, 20 grinds of cracked black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.  The plan is to grill them and use an Italian bread to put them on and top with a sauce that is still to be determined, melt some beautiful aged Swiss cheese and pop on the sandwich press and grill to perfection.

I will of course take a pic and share it upon completion and give a review.

Wish me luck eaters!
