BACK TO THE KITCHEN


I realize that I haven't been going full on crazy in the kitchen for the past couple of weeks, I had a lack of ideas! Last night however, I took back the stove! After going out to eat and having a terrific meal and then ordering in food that was a let down. It was time.

We had on hand a relatively inexpensive cut of pork. Pork sirloin, not a bad cut of meat and you can not beat the price. To spruce it up I prepared it on the grill pan with Herb De Provance and peach marmalade sauce. Too good and so simple. Served along side some Saffron rice and broccoli, it was heavenly. Even the most simple meal sounds fancy when you add the words "with Herb De Provance" to it. This finally got some creative juices flowing and sure beat the pizza delivery from the night before!
