Grilled Portobello and Onion Burger

On page 181 of the Weight Watchers All Time Favorites cookbook is a secret gem! One thing I loathe about the diet cookbooks is the lack of photos. I mentioned this fact in my last blog. Well, true to my word I grabbed my not so smart phone and snapped a photo of the dish. The picture doesn't do the dish justice and I am avidly looking for a better camera for better pics.

This recipe is part of my new meatless Monday. I am so pleased to say, that it doesn't lack in any of the goodness and has the most unique flavors I have ever come across in a healthy fast food meal. I made mine exactly to the recipe and as a side dish made some baked spicy potato wedges. The recipe is available in the, "Weight Watchers All Time Favorites" book. I think that it's wonderful to have a dish that is so very reminiscent of our favorite guilty pleasures while offering up a healthy and delicious alternative. If I can have a burger and fries and still lose weight, I am all about it!
