People, it's that time again, when I have finally had enough being overweight and decide to do something about it! I am currently selecting recipes and foods that will bring down the lbs. One thing that I have noticed about some "diet" recipes or cookbooks, is that they typically don't have a lot of pictures to go along with the dishes. I am gonna step outside of my comfort zone and start to prepare the meals without the pics. After, I complete and try the new foods, I will snap a shot of them myself and share here on the blog.
It has taken a while for me to get back on track with the healthy way of living. I can now say that after months of not fitting in the clothes I have been able to wear for years, and looking at the mirror thinking that I must have eaten my former self, now I am ready!
So, armed with several cookbooks and websites, I am creating a menu for the week and am going to get started on yet another weight loss endeavor. I said in the very first blog on the site that I thought it was fun and challenging to create new recipes to help take off the unwanted pounds. Now is the time to hold myself to that statement!
