Cheesecake Squares

I have been searching high and low for a recipe that would just be, something like cheesecake the brownie from the "Great American Cookie Company"!  Now that most of the malls in suburban areas have begun to fizzle out, it's become increasingly harder to find these tasty gems.

Well, the wait is over!  I have come up with a recipe that at the very least will soothe that craving for this Mall food deliciousness!!!!

CHEESECAKE SQUARES

1 box yellow cake mix
3 eggs
8 oz. block of cream cheese softened to room temperature
1 stick of butter, melted
2 3/4 cups powdered sugar
Cooking spray

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F
2. Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray
3. Mix cake mix, melted butter, and one egg to a soft pliable dough
4. Press dough evenly into bottom of baking dish
5. Mix together the powdered sugar, softened cream cheese and remaining two eggs until smooth.
6. Pour the cream cheese, powdered sugar mixture evenly over the dough. Bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes until just beginning to turn a golden brown.
7. Remove pan from oven and cool on cooling rack for 2-4 minutes.
8. Chill in the refrigerator until completely cool. Cut into squares and enjoy!
