Healthy Inspiration

I have been down with the flu for the past week.  While being laid up in bed and miserable, a few things came to mind.  First, your body always tells you when to start taking better care of it. Second, it's absolutely time to start eating better and exercising. Third and finally, when actually putting your mind to it, great and healthy food can be just as wonderful as the crazy full fat ones that should just be enjoyed in moderation. My  first and best example were delicious stuffed peppers. I filled them with  93/7 ground turkey which I then made into homemade Italian sausage.  To the mixture was Basmati rice, marinara, and sauteed onions.  I will be posting the full recipe as well as others that have been created and tested. If I can keep up at this rate and taste then weight loss and a healthier lifestyle should be a breeze.

These were so Heavenly! I am super excited to get on the health train!
