Gourmet Eats to Country Chic

Over the past couple of days I have been trying out some new ideas and some recipes that I haven't yet attempted. I modified my standard Spaghetti and meatball recipe by adding a few gourmet touches and ingredients. Then to prove to myself that I haven't gotten above my raising I FINALLY made my first ever attempt at Chicken Fried Chicken.

I literally went from eating Italian meatballs with Black Truffle Oil and salad to a "Bring it back home" country supper, complete with bread and butter, milk gravy and corn on the cob. I know that generally when I cook, and when I post on here, I'm sharing my thoughts and recipes on the more gourmet meals. I felt it time to actually show where I come from and that my palate indeed is varied.

Monday's Meal SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS with BLACK TRUFFLE OIL

Tuesday's Meal CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN

So, there you have it. From gourmet eating on Monday night to traditional country cookin' chic on Tuesday. Both were equally terrific and both did not disappoint! I especially love the fact that both meals left enough leftovers to create something new or just heat up for a great lunch!

Happy eating everyone!
