After carefully considering which type of plan or change I needed to make to my diet and lifestyle, summer heat came and gave me a little helping hand. All the dilemma about what to eat and how to shed some pounds seems to be irrelevant when it's too hot to eat anything at all. This could very well be why some folks actually take off weight in the summer time. I don't think it's because they're so much more active. They're just too hot to work up an appetite.
I have been using the outdoor grill for nearly all of our summer meals. This, not only helps with beating the heat in the kitchen, but it cuts down on all of the calories and fat because of the grilling. Don't get me wrong, clearly if you're eating an 18oz. Porterhouse and large baked potato, it really doesn't matter your method for cooking the meal. I do tend to think that as a result of being outside more and having less of an appetite, trying to beat the heat just may help me to beat the weight!
We'll see how it goes! Happy Summertime! IEADTT
