The outdoor grill offered the ability to be in the great outdoors and not heating up the entire house. While the indoor grill offered up the pleasure of climate control and the ability to wash as you go.
Faced with this I opted for the outdoor grill. Not to mention I wanted to test the true taste difference. I must say folks, call me lazy or just picky, but I prefer the indoor grill pan.
The outdoor gas grill didn't offer up the beautiful char marks that I so thoroughly enjoy. Plus! the steak wasn't nearly as tender as with my indoor buddy.
Below are two pics of the NY strip prepared. The top from the outdoor gas grill and the bottom the indoor grill pan.
Both were prepared and seasoned the same way. Maybe, I don't know what I'm doing. Maybe I just screwed it up. However; my next steak will be cooked on the indoor grill pan!
Grilled baked potatoes were great though! Don't fret outdoor grill. I will be back! IEADTT!
