Life's Passion Found Me and had Been there for Thirty Seven years! Who Knew?

I am elated to finally be bringing this blog to life! Imagine. It's November 11, 2011. I am laying in my bed at 4:45AM and what starts running through my mind is...."HUMMM Oprah's Lifeclass, How much change is in my change jar? I need another Mucinex" Crazy huh? Then, I began thinking about the fact that tomorrow is my 38th birthday and I still didn't feel like I had found my passion. I knew that I loved music and entertaining people but was I truly passionate about it? Then another mindshift. If I feel better in the morning I'm going to make myself a beautiful breakfast. For lunch I will have...then for dinner I will make. The whisper became a thump and the thump became a brick to the head when I realized what had been running through my mind for the past hour WAS my passion. I LOVE FOOD! I love preparing it! I love the fact that it brings people together. I love trying new things! I even love the challenge that overeating creates when you have to cut back and then create and find new recipes that are equally delicious in order to take off the unwanted pounds and remain healthy! I suddenly realized my passion had been feeding me for 37 years!

Do NOT get me wrong, I am not a chef, or a dietitian , I am a lover of food and wine and the endless possibilities that come along with getting people together to discuss all aspects of the food world.

I am truly going to try and be a wealth of entertainment and knowledge as I embark on my mission to, throw out my opinions on various places, let you know where the best customer service is, who to go to when you are looking for help and I will attempt the events and recipes of popular cook & fine living books to see how it goes and then report back!

Finally! Come with me and I pledge to not disappoint! Just 34 minutes until 38 years! Now I can say I was 37 when I started this!
